The Tzolkin, the holy galactic calendar Strictly speaking the Tzolkin actually isn't a calendar, but a representation of the general principle according to which creation is accomplished. This consists of 2 components: The so called 13 tones of creation. These are normally written in accordance with the Mayan writing system; each dot represents a 1, while each bar equals 5:
These 13 galactic tones of creation are a time-wave: it starts with the 1, reaches its ultimate idea at the galactic tone 7 at the top of the wave, reaches it's manifestation at tone 10 and is completed with the tone number 13. The essence of the 13 tones of creation is that the number 0 fails. This is the essential difference with cycles that have been based upon the number 12. The circle is often divided into 12 segments and this includes the whole (or the number 0, which reflects the whole). Creation however can only be accomplished by a seperation from the whole: the 0 to 12 of the circle pass into the 13 tones of creation. At the end of a cycle of creation (tone 13) that which has been created returns to it's origin, like dying. This may explain the number 13 as the unlucky number. Apart from the 13 tones of creation, there exist the 20 so called solar seals, which are the 20 possible different phases of manifestation of a creation. When the solar seals are a manifestation of a time wave they are numbered from1 to 20 and again the 0 fails. However the 20 solar seals can also manifest in other ways, for example as a "partner", which is connected with the "main" solar seal or in the material level, like the 20 fingers and toes. In that cases the last solar seal (number 20) mostly gets number 0 and the order becomes different. The 13 tones of creation and the 20 solar seals interact with each other like a gear:
The 13 galactic tones of creation as well as the 20 solar seals succeed each other. This leads to 13 x 20 = 260 possible combinations, which is called a Tzolkincycle. When this is combined with a solar year of 365 days (without leap days!), this results into the calendar round of 52 years: during this period all possible combinations of the solar year and the Tzolkin-round are passed through. I come later back to the issue of the leap days (the 29th February) and the issue of the "true" count, a discussion that's alive among Maya-researchers. Although "the" Tzolkin is mostly considered as a calendar of 260 days, the Tzolkin refers to a general principle of creation and in some cases the Tzolkincycle includes a much longer time span. It means that in such cases a specific signature doesn't last for 1 day, but lasts for several days or even years. This for example applies for the 9 Underworlds (see later). Keeping in touch with the whole Although the Tzolkin is a so called 13:20-coded cycle of creation, on the background another cycle is of mayor importance: the cycle of the so called "Guiding Power". The Guiding Power is a solar seal that guides us from other dimensions and intensifies the tendencies. The Guiding Power has a cycle of 12 days, which means that the Guiding Power is always the same as the guiding power of 12 days ago. There is one exception and that's the Guiding Power when the galactic tone equals 13: this is different from the Guiding Power of 12 days ago, which is tone 1 of the same time-wave. When a new Guiding Power comes into force at the 13th and last day of a time wave, this is repeated 12 times, every 12 days. Then again 12 days later (which is again tone 13) a new Guiding Power comes into force. This means that at the background the cycle of 12 days has an important role and this can be explained by the fact that this time span connects us with the whole, as expressed by the number 12. However also on a cosmological level the combination of 12 and 13 is often found. For example: During a year, the moon passes 13 times through the zodiac. This precisely equals 12 lunar months (the cycle of the lunar phases). During a period of 8 years, Venus precisely turns 13 times around the sun. During the same period Venus precisely revolves 12 times around her axis. The Long Count, the 9 underworlds and the precession-cycle The Long Count refers to a creation-cycle of 5200 (13 x 400 or 260 x 20) "cosmic" years; a cosmic year (called "Tun") is a cycle of 360 days. Actually this cycle can be considered as one very long Tzolkincycle of 260 x 20 Tun. However, as already pointed out, more ages exist (see end of time). The duration of these ages rapidly decreases and they all end on the end date. After the end of the 9 Underworlds, the spiral of time that's going along with that reverses and the creation cycle of another 9 Underworlds starts. This concerns a cycle of ever increasing ages in connection with a widening outward moving time-spiral. Some Maya-researchers connect the end of the Long Count with the so called precession-cycle and this certainly also makes sense. The earth axis makes a wobble, which lasts for about 26.000 years, comparable with a top (click here). At this moment, the earth axis is aligned with on one hand the centre of the galaxy and the other hand Orion, precisely opposite to that. On the day of the recreation of the world, the sun, the Earth, Venus and Pluto are aligned with the axis from Orion to the centre of the galaxy. On the 21st December this is true for the Earth and Pluto. The last precession-cycle of 26.000 years corresponds with the last quarter of the 5th Underworld. The harmonization in the year 2012 and the role of the Pleiades Although I never did research in the field, I integrated the research of basicly the following (Maya-)researchers (list not complete): Goodman, Martinez-Hermandez, Thompson: In the thirties of the previous age, these researchers made a lot of effort in finding the correlation between the Long Count and the Julian or Gregorian Calendar. This resulted in the famous "GMT-correlation": the correlation which puts the enddate on the 21st December 2012. Carl Johan Calleman: He was able to reconstruct the true meaning of the Long Count and is known by his profound research referring the ever shortening ages of the 9 Underworlds. He also sensed correctly that there is something wrong with the end date on the 21st December 2012 and concluded that the completion of the divine creation of the 9 Underworlds would be on the 28th October 2011. He doesn't speak about creation-cycles after that. José Argüelles: He is mainly known by the introduction of the so called 13-moon-calendar. This is the 13-moon-calendar as this is in use since the year 1540, when the Spanish decided to fix the beginning of the Maya calender on the 26th July (this was actually the 16th July according to the then still existing Julian Calendar). The Maya accepted this and this date is found in the books of the Chilam Balam, which have been written after that. He is also known as the person who propagated the use of the so called Dreamspell Tzolkin. This is a Tzolkin-cycle that deviates from the Tzolkin-cycle used in ancient times. I come later back to this subject. John Major Jenkins: He is mainly known by his research in the field of the precession-cycle and the meaning of the centre of the Galaxy. He also recognizes the fact that the Maya also were aware of another place of creation, namely the "hearth" of Orion in connection with the 3 belt stars of Orion. Studying the mythologies of the Maya-civilization he also recognized the meaning of Jupiter and Venus and there role regarding the recreation of the world. When studying his work, I also stroke upon a few Long Count-dates that helped me to find the evidence that "my" correlation is correct. He also recognizes the importance of the Pleiades (at least for the Maya-civilization). Zecharia Sitchin: He did a lot of research regarding the old Sumerian civilization and is famous because of his vision on Nibiru and the creation of the Homo sapiens. Robert Boerman: He did a lot of research regarding crop circle formations. Especially his research regarding the meaning of the Hebrew text, found in August 1991 is of great value. Angela Skaliks: She was the very first contact referring Maya-research. Most important is that she gave me a date which refers to the destruction of Maldek: the planet of which is said that this has been destructed because of the loss of contact with the divine creation. This resulted in the destruction of this planet, from which the asteroid belt has been arosen. Although this is a channelled date (which might be not reliable), it turns out that this date in a totally amazing way is a code for the destruction and recreation of planet Earth. Although a lot of great work has been done in the past, still one thing failed: the integration of all of this and finding the whole. In this respect there were a lot of issues that still had to be solved as they were or seemed to be conflicting. In this respect I got a lot of guidance. However it must be stressed that I always searched (and found!) the arguments and a lot of scientifical evidence that my guidance was directly connected with light and the divine source of creation. In this respect I found that the mayor issues still hadn't been solved. We shouldn't forget that most sources are more than 1000 years old. Moreover the transition to new age really required changes in calendar systems. This is important as calendar systems are a reflection of the divine creation. This still will be the case during new age. The mayor issues were: The issue of the true end date The issue of the "true" Tzolkin count
The Tzolkin-count and the classical Tzolkin resonate with a cycle of 13 Tun. The Dreamspell-count however doesn't have this relationship with the Tun-cycle! Moreover there are more problems regarding the Dreamspell count. It can easily be shown that in contrast to the classical count the Dreamspell count isn't in tune with the so called ecliptic year either. The cycle of the ecliptic year is important as this keeps us in touch with our origin and destination. So what happens? Through its close relationship with the solar year, the Dreamspell creates a close relationship with self-consciousness (the traditional meaning of the sun), however this hasn't been connected with our true origin, nor with our true destination. As a result: ego arises along with the idea to be the centre of the universe!!! This is independent from the question if somebody is acquainted with this calendar or not and I actually recommend to keep track of this count also. Then the question arises: Why did cosmic intelligences introduce this count??? First of all,it seemed to be important to have a Tzolkin-cycle that has a close relationship with the solar year. Moreover, the sun always had a central place in the lifes of ancient cultures: they worshipped the sun and the sun can be considered as the most important celestial body. Moreover we should bear in mind that the good as well as the evil are a divine creation. We first have to get in touch with "the evil" and learn how to deal with the ego, before we can really live in light and harmony. This however certainly isn't the only reason. To understand this we have to bear in mind that the Tzolkin-cycle is a general principle regarding creation. The classical count is a creative power of male-energy. The Dreamspell count in contrast is a creative power of female-energy. Both equilibrate each other. When we realize that regarding the Dreamspell this goes along with a lack of connection with the Tun-cycle as well as the ecliptic cycle this means that people easily lose common sense and are influenced by negative entities. This mostly happens on a subconscious level. Loss of common sense and mass hysteria can be the result. For the same reason, also most channelings aren't reliable. How will this problem be solved in near future? By a reconnection with the Tun-cycle and the ecliptic cycle, this will be transformed and people will be able to realize their dreams by a reconnection with their inner core, instead of the dreamspell that has been influenced by the ego. This is done by skipping the leap days in the Tzolkin-count as well as the calendar of the solar year. I come later back on this subject. Although Maya-researchers are only acquainted with 2 counts until now, the creative power of the male and the female energy of these two cycles lead to polarization and an always present "war" between the male and the female. Harmony can only arise by connecting polarities. For this it's necessary that people reconnect with there true origin as symbolically reflected by the stars. For this reason a third Tzolkin-cycle has been introduced in the past. Like the Dreamspell at present this Tzolkin-cycle is connected with the Gregorian calendar. This means that the leap days are skipped and the same kind of problems as with the Dreamspell exist. In practice this means that people have difficulties to connect with there true origin. As in near future the leap days will be abolished in the solar year calendar, the disharmonious relationship between the classical Tzolkin-count and the other two Tzolkin-counts has been abolished in the year 2008. Since the 1st March 2008, the difference between the 3 counts is always 24 days and this won't change in future. This perfectly fits with the cycle of 12 days of the Guiding Power. It means that the Guiding Power of the 3 counts is mostly the same: the 3 counts resonate with each other in an harmonic way. This has been clarified in the following diagram:
This diagram shows the effect of the leap-days of the Dreamspell and Cosmic count and the difference between the counts. This diagram also shows that in the year 1863 (the 26th August) 23 days have been skipped in the Long Count. Before that time the Long Count was in perfect resonance with the classical Tzolkin. However as the diagram shows, this role will be taken over by the Tzolkin-count that connects us with our true origin! This diagram also shows that the classical Tzolkin never skipped a day in the past, nor will this happen in future with the exception of only one day, namely the 29th February 2012. The issue of the leap days and why the Maya and Egyptian in former times didn't have leap days in there calendars There is a lot of misunderstanding regarding the fact that in former times the Maya nor the Egyptian had leap days in there calendar-systems. This means that the Maya-year drifted away from the seasonal year. Sometimes it's suggested that the effect of the leap days is an irregularity in the orbit of the earth around the sun and in new age the orbit of the earth will change to an orbital period of precise 365 days. This however isn't the case. To understand this we first should realize that in the divine creation of our solar system everything has been created in a perfect way. When the orbital period of the earth around the sun would be reduced to exact 365 days, this would disturb other harmonious relationships. For example the cycle of the ecliptic year is an important cycle. This is the cycle of the sun relative to the nodes of the moon and equals 346.62 days. This perfectly fits with the classical Tzolkin-cycle as follows:
There is a difference of only 0.14 days! This can be neglected during a humans life. However when the orbital period of the earth would be reduced to exactly 365 days, also the cycle of the ecliptic year would be reduced and would become about 346.4 days! This means that the resonance between the ecliptic year and the Tzolkin-cycle would be lost! Also other harmonious relationships would dramatically change. The solution for this problem is as easy as illuminating: the reintroduction of a calendar of 365 days without leap days! A calendar of divine creation isn't necessarily a seasonal calendar. It can also easily been demonstrated that this calendar will have a perfect harmonious relationship with other cycles, like Venus and the moon. For the moon a cycle of 39 calendar years will apply, corresponding with 13 x 40 + 1 sidereal months. For Mercury a perfect cycle of 20 calendar years applies. This perfectly connects with natural time! The short-term connection of this calendar with the true solar year is still present. However there is also a long-term connection, namely over a period of 20 x 72 years. This perfectly resonates with the solar year as well as the Tun-cycle:
There is a difference of 4 days, however from an astrological point of view this is fully neglectible. This means that 1440 calender years funtion as a time frame within which the solar year as well as the cosmic year have been embedded in a pefect way. Note however that I calculated with the sidereal year, which actually is the "stellar" year. As the new human race will reconnect with the stars, in this respect the seasonal year (which is slightly shorter by the effect of the precession-cycle) doesn't have any significance. The Gregorian calendar (which is often considered as disharmonious) and other existing calendar systems. Do they end? Changes of calendar systems and our 24-hours clock in new age I got a lot of information about present calendars, like the Maya-calendars and how these will change in near future. There is a lot of evidence that these changes fully agree with the divine plan like the appearance of some crop circle formations amongst others. Most important changes are (not complete):
The synchronization of the Tzolkin-cycles of the male, the female and the child and the synchronization with other calendars (see discussion above)
The introduction of a new 13-moon-calendar without leap days
A slight modification of the already existing Maya-calendar of 18 Vinals
The introduction of a new seasonal calendar which is in tune with Venus and has 24 calendar months of 30 months plus 10 or 11 days (2 years-cycle)
The replacement of the 24-hours-clock by a 26:20:13:20-coded clock The role of SeDNA and the recreation of the world The role of the Pleiades in new age What will happen? What does the transition to new age effect? © Marc Smulders |
