Things sometimes go awry in a strange way. First the Maya lost everything and books were burned and next – after a few centuries – we give them back their own "science" in a "wrong" way. Also among the Maya’s and Maya-elders themselves profound knowledge got lost. This I had to think about, when I realized that among the indigenous people there exists a widely spread confusion about the question, when they should celebrate new year. Some celebrate new year on January 1, others at the beginning of spring, March 21 or September 23 on the southern hemisphere. Then there is the Maya-researcher José Argüelles who oracles that new year starts on July 26. To make the confusion complete: traditionally spoken, the Maya-year – called Haab – doesn’t have any fixed starting date, because it doesn’t have leap-days. When we count forward from ancient times (800 – 900 AD) up to present time, then this year the Haab should start on April 3. In other words: there is a lot of confusion.

Although it might seem to be not very relevant – we aren’t a Maya – I have another opinion. I’m sure that the Maya’s in former times had a much closer contact with the universe and their origin than this is the case nowadays and I’m sure that the classical Maya-calendar, the Haab, will make its revival. In this sense we shouldn’t forget that we are going to be again children of the stars and in this fact the solution can be found for the oracle: new year starts in relation to the fact that we are going to become children of the stars again! Because the Pleiades are recognized as the most important star cluster of new age, especially by the Maya, the start of new year has a close relationship with that. However the year actually consists of 18 x 20 = 360 days only and 5, sometimes 6 days are left over, the days on which the "gods are absent". On the last day of the actual year (day 360) the sun is in a conjunction with the Pleiades, while 5 to 6 days later – when the true new year starts – the Pleiades rise in the morning, just before sunrise, although still invisible in the twilight. This points us towards May 26 as the start of new year.

Also all kind of other facts make clear that this “analysis” is correct. When we take ancient times as a starting point, we must conclude that in 1755 – 1756 – just before the start of the industrial age in the year 1756 – the traditional Haab started on June 4. A few days have been skipped at that time, which means that from the year 1756 onwards the Haab starts on May 26. Hence there is an almost perfect connection with ancient times. Further: would it be coincidence that in English, Spanish, German, the month May, Mayo, Mai has such a close similarity with Maya?! I don’t believe in coincidence. Apart from that last year, amongst others, appeared a very special crop circle formation at the so called "Rollright Stone Circle". A legend has it that nobody is able to count the number of stones and this legend has a remarkable parallel with the fact that nobody knows the true starting date of the Haab. This formation concerned a "Vesica Piscis", an old symbol that points us towards the unification of the male with the female, which has a close relationship with our origin, symbolized by the stars! The formation arose on a day that the Pleiades rose during midnight, namely August 3, 2009. When we count the circles, it turns out this points us towards the date of the Haab that corresponds with August 3, the date of the formation. Moreover also other fact point us towards the starting date of the Haab on May 26. In this link this is explained in depth.

New year corresponds with "0 Pop". Pop is the Vinal – period of 20 days – that is very suitable for cleansing and burning of the ego. Day 0 has a close connection with the source, from which everything starts and to which everything returns. For this reason this day shouldn’t only be considered as the beginning of the next year only, but it also completes the previous year. The whole Vinal Pop (May 26 until June 14) is good for leaving old stuff behind that prevents the next phase in your life and for this reason it’s very suitable to undertake new initiatives, it’s a rebirth.

The formation that appeared on May 16 of this year should be seen in a wider perspective in relation to this. When you compare the formation with the symbol of Pentecost, it's clear that the formation without any doubt points us towards Pentecost, although Pentecost this year fell on May 23.

The 2 times 3 circles in the shape of a heart point us to the fact that the connection with light implies that we reconnect with our heart, our true inner core. This is stressed by the fact that like the Rollright Stone formation it encloses a Vesica Piscis in the middle of the formation, which also symbolizes the connection of the male with the female. The diagram also demonstrates that there were 2 extra small additional dots near the heart-forms, a reference to something that lacks and is invisible: the subconscious. The 12 aspects in connection with the 12 meridians in ourselves that symbolize the 12 apostles, can be considered in connection with 6 day-signs and 6 night-signs: the connection of the conscious with the subconscious, out of which love arises. On earth there is no other possibility to reconnect with out inner core: hence there doesn't exist something like an all including consciousness, because when we would reach such a state, we would dissolve immediately!

The explanation that this formation didn’t arise on Pentecost itself, is that it points us towards Pentecost in 2012, that in that year will fall on May 27, the day after new year (1 Pop). May and June 2010 also point towards a break-through, because Jupiter (planet of expansion) and Uranus (planet of revolution) are in a close conjunction (although opposed by Saturn, planet of structure and obstruction). The date of the formation in this sense has been connected with Pentecost 2012, because of the fact that on that day the sun relative to Uranus on the one hand and the moon relative to Jupiter on the other hand again will be the same. Pentecost 2012 is 1 Pop and a start can be made to undertake the actions that are a result of the ideas that arose on 0 Pop, May 26, in a close connection with light. The reference towards the Haab becomes even clearer by the fact that next to the formation – in the same field – a second formation has been found that precisely corresponds with the symbol of the sun: a dot in a circle! The reference to the sun, without any doubt points us towards the beginning of new year!

In this respect also the orientation of the formation is important. One circle at the top of the formation clearly has a deviating position and it turns out that this circle points towards the North. This also equals the orientation of the moon (at the IC) at 2:54 BST in the night. However the symbol of the sun doesn't point to the North or the South, but to a direction about 30 degrees East of the North (see diagram). This is the direction of the sun at about 3:08 BST, although below the horizon. The reason for this subtle difference becomes clear when we realize that the Haab is a sacred calendar, which is connected with Universal Time. This means that a new "day" only starts at midnigt at the true prime meridian. In former times this prime meridian passed over Meso-America, because it belonged to the culture in that region. However in future - at the beginning of new age - the prime meridian will move towards the pyramids of Egypt, the center of the Earth's land mass. At present the prime meridian runs 64 degrees West of this meridian or about 33 degrees West and it turns out that this implies that in England on May 16 the "day" referring the haab starts at 3:08 according to the British Summer Time! The formation also approximately has been orientated on the position of the Pleiadisch at 3:08 and exactly correponds with the orientation of the Pleiades (below the horizon) at the moment that the moon passed the IC (nadir).

May 26, 2010 this year also is a very special new-yearsday. The signature of this day is identical as the day on which the erection of the World Tree of a very short age will be completed: October 28, 2011: the completion of the erection of the 9th Underworld that will start on September 16, 2011.

October 28, 2011 is classically spoken the first "Ahau-date" when we consider the 234 days period starting from October 12, 2011, which is the period that is 20 times shorter than the underlying 8th Underworld. Moreover when we consider the 8th Underworld as one long "Tzolkin"-cycle of 260 x 18 days, it falls within the period of 18 days with the signature 1 Lamat, which marks the start of the last time-wave of the 8th Underworld.

This is a very remarkable fact, because the Maya-researcher Carl Johan Calleman postulates that October 28, 2011 would be the end-date of the Maya calendar. Now it turns out that it’s not the end-date of the Maya calendar, but in another way is a very important marking point regarding the creation of the Underworlds. Hence new years day on May 26 and the completion of the erection of the ninth underworld on October 28, 2011 have closely been connected towards each other: there are precise 2 Tzolkin-cycles or 520 days in between! In this respect also should be noted that the moon connects May 26, 2010 with October 28, 2011 as well as June 1, 2012, the true end-date of the Maya-calendar: the moon is at the same position in the zodiac on all these 3 dates. Note also that May 26, 2010 falls almost precise 2 year before the end-date, which means that not only the moon, but also the sun connects both dates. Hence: May 26, 2010 is a very important date to celebrate! It marks a true new start in connection with the very end of the spiral of time on June 1, 2012, the zero-point on which the time-spiral will reverse. The 9 Underworlds of the spiral of time that will reach a zero-point on June 1, 2012 refer to the divine creation that results in an ever increasing separation from our true origin and inner core. It’s also for this reason that people lost contact with important cycles of creation (even Maya-elders). The ever increasing development of our brains throughout history lead to an increased self-consciousness and drive for self-realization: the separation of out true inner core, caused by the ego could be born and lead to the following step of separation. This is why our “intelligence” didn’t lead to an increased harmony, but actually lead to an ever increasing separation and loss of universal consciousness. This process will continue until the very end of the spiral of time. After that the spiral of time reverses and this is the turning point that will truly lead to a strongly increased awareness of unification. Before that this is impossible, because it clashes with divine order and creation, if we like it or not.

In this respect should be noted that Calleman is organizing a "conscious convergence" on July 17 to 18. According to him the 9th “universal” Underworld will start on March 8th 2011, 234 days before his postulated end-date on October 28 of that year. When we count back two times this period of 234 days before October 28, 2011, this falls on July 17 this year, which according to him has a relationship with the start of the 9th Underworld. It’s very interesting to note that if we follow his original theory as this has been explained in his earlier books, the 9th Underworld, will last 260 (instead of 234) days, although he suggests that it also might be 234 days and is still not sure about it. It should be noted that also all the other Underworlds last a period that’s always a multiple of 260 days in connection with the Tzolkin-cycle. The reason is that 260 is the basic number of creation. For example if you celebrate your 21st birth-day you also celebrate that fact that you reached the age of 260 lunar months: the end of the 260th lunar month almost falls around the same date as your 21st birth-day! Therefore it’s very likely that the 9th Underworld is 260 days or 13 Vinals indeed. The reason why Calleman changed his theory is unknown (at least to me), but it’s likely that the reason is that 234 days is precise 20 times shorter than the underlying 8th underworld, although it lacks the natural connection with creation (260 days) and the Tzolkin. In this respect it’s absolutely very curious to note that if we follow Callemans “old” theory, which clearly prefers 260 days, we also should celebrate May 26, instead of July 17, because it falls 2 x 260 days before his “end-date” !! Hence if we truly want to make a start to connect with the divine creation and become co-creator it anyhow will be very helpful to be aware of the energy that guides us during new year on May 26. In this respect should be noted that we should celebrate the day, while the "transition" in the night of May 25 to May 26 is of minor importance. This is due to the fact that May 26 is 0 Pop, which means that the day, day 0 also has been connected with the past: it completes last year out of which next year will be born. The fact that classically spoken May 26 equals 13 Ahau, the last day of the Tzolkin-cycle also clarifies it’s a day of transformation and light.
